Once you have successfully completed your training, you will be offered an instructor position in our fast-growing Driving School, RED. In your new career you can look forward to job satisfaction, excellent earnings potential, flexible hours and ongoing business support.
Where will I work?
As soon as practical after qualification, we can appoint you to our team to work as a driving instructor in a designated area.
This area will usually be your immediate neighbourhood but, if there are no vacancies or that area is already allocated to another instructor, you may be required to work a few miles away.
How soon will I get new pupils?
Using our freephone telephone number, new pupils are able to book lessons immediately with you through our centrally based booking office which is open 7 days a week.
We use proven and successful marketing techniques to actively sign up new pupils for you. We provide local support such as posters, leaflets, yellow pages and PR where required, to generate a “full” diary. In addition our ground-breaking TV and internet campaign promotes our RED Driving School nationally.
The “Fast Start” pupil introduction programme
Fast Start is our unique instructor business development programme which ensures that new driving instructors joining our team can have a full diary, and therefore an income, within the first few weeks of their initial pupil recruitment promotion.
If required our driving school manager and his team will initiate a Fast Start promotional launch to ensure you have a full diary as soon as possible.

How much will I earn?
Most instructors work approximately 40 hours a week but you may work more or less if you wish to. It is entirely up to you when those hours are worked and it is you who decides what time to have off. All that is asked is that you accept some evening and weekend work. The chart in the next section outlines in greater detail the earning potential for our instructors.
